Liquid Rush

Sunset crystals mesh
a candle of green flash
caressed in golden thread
rolling miles of foamy green
music set in three quarter time
a cacophony of seagulls hover
liquid rush under fall cover

Broken sand castles
on dilating shadows
summer wraps memories
in briny dismal fingers of fog
tendrils dance in wavering rays
dunes once wide to the balmy night
occlude enfolding in a wet rush
and cracks of distant heated hush
