While strolling through the fallen autumn leaves
That cover blades of grass beneath my feet
I think of all our summer memories
The cooling breezes after passion’s heat.
I once again recall your sweet embrace
That nourished love within this heart of mine
I also see the smile upon your face
Now aged as sweet and mellow as a wine
Across my lips and held upon my tongue
To warm my soul as leaves say winter’s near.
These memories will keep you ever young
As on we age within another year.
And you will stay forever young to me
As I stroll through leaves fallen as they be.
