My Teddy Bear

I got me a big old teddy bear
Now he`s not from the county fair
I think he was sent from above
He`s got a big heart full of love

Now he says he`s a big old bear
He must be what they call a care bear
He`s kind and gentle, sweet as can be
I`m so lucky this bear loves me

He calls me honey that must be good
All bears like honey, Or they should
He`s got a soft and gentle tender touch
One of the reasons I love him so much

He hugs me and cuddles me all the time
If he says he`s a bear well that`s just fine
He can be my bear and call me honey to
This honeys gonna stick to him like glue

When we go out,It may look strange to see
A big old bear walking ,with little old me
He`s not really a bear he just says he is
He can be my honey bear and I`ll be his.

Cute poem, well written. Reminds me a little of the ‘Winnie the Pooh’ poetry by A A Milne.
